This campaign aims to bring basic healthcare and education to the children and families of Chitrakoot and its 500 surrounding villages in Uttar Pradesh & Madhya Pradesh, India.
With the help of volunteer staff from the UK, the project trains local staff to treat patients and educate villagers so that they can become self-reliant.
The department in Chitrakoot is well equipped by Kavo and includes Xray and haematology investigation on site. Three surgeries and a consulting room are on site and patients travel large distances to be seen.
We are proud that the local experts in Chitrakoot now provide regular dental care with little support. We are now looking to expand our work into other areas such as child and maternity facilities, girls’ education and other projects.
